The greenlabs Lagos Incubator program organized by Consumer Advocacy and Empowerment Foundation (CADEF) in partnership with Jacob’s Ladder Africa (JLA), is entering its second cycle with a sharpened focus on Powering Food Systems. This focus reflects the urgent need for scalable, youth-led solutions at the nexus of clean energy and food security in Nigeria.
During the session, the team walked participants through the nine-month incubation journey, detailing the mentorship structure, hands-on capacity-building sessions, innovation sprints, and the strong emphasis on developing sustainable products and ventures that address real community needs. The facilitators also outlined the program’s expanded support systems, including technical guidance, expert-led learning, prototype development opportunities, and visibility pathways.
Attendees gained insights into eligibility criteria, expectations for team formation, and the nature of sector challenges to be explored, as well as what makes Cohort 2 significantly more strategic.
