In today’s creative economy, talent alone is no longer enough. Young creatives must also navigate rapidly evolving tools, digital platforms, and new ways of working shaped by artificial intelligence and automation. Recognising this shift, Consumer Advocacy and Empowerment Foundation (CADEF) partnered with YAPPI Nigeria (Youth in Animation and Post Production) to support a free virtual training designed to help young Nigerians stay relevant, confident, and competitive.

The training, delivered by YAPPI Nigeria, focused on design, post-production, and AI-powered content creation, providing participants with practical insights into the tools and skills shaping modern creative workflows. Through this collaboration, CADEF supported a learning experience that prioritised accessibility, hands-on knowledge, and real-world application.

Held as a live webinar, the session introduced participants to key areas such as visual design for digital platforms, post-production fundamentals, and the use of generative AI tools to improve creativity and productivity. The training was structured to ensure that participants could immediately apply what they learned to personal projects, freelance work, or professional roles.

Beyond technical skills, the session highlighted the importance of adaptability and continuous learning in an industry where change is constant. Participants were encouraged to see technology not as a barrier, but as a powerful enabler for creativity, efficiency, and growth.
