In celebration of Nigeria’s Independence Day, the CADEF team paused to reflect on what makes our nation remarkable, from its people and their relentless “naija spirit”, to its unyielding capacity to rise above every challenge. To commemorate the day, we gathered the voices of our team in a heartfelt video compilation, each person responding to one simple but profound question:

“As Nigeria turns 65, what are you most grateful for?”

What emerged was a collective portrait of hope and an affirmation of the qualities that continue to define Nigeria despite adversity.
