Key Takeaways from the Webinar
Consumers play a critical role in driving sustainability. By making informed choices, consumers can influence businesses and policymakers to adopt greener and more ethical practices.
A just transition must prioritize inclusivity. Sustainable living should be accessible to all, including low-income communities, ensuring affordability and fair access to clean energy solutions.
Consumer protection agencies have a responsibility to hold businesses accountable. Organizations like LASCOPA ensure that consumers are not exploited in the shift toward green economies.
Education and advocacy are key to empowering consumers. Consumers must know their rights and responsibilities in the green transition to make informed decisions that align with sustainability goals.
