The collective voice of every Nigerian consumer — speaking for those unheard in policy rooms and underserved in communities.
Founded
We are Consumer Advocacy and Empowerment Foundation (CADEF). We started with a burden to repair what has been broken in society. We speak for consumers, especially those unheard in policy rooms and underserved in communities, women, youth, children, and persons with disabilities.
We engage the systems that shape everyday life, challenging low standards, poor enforcement, and exclusion, while equipping people to understand and demand their rights.
Like the builders in Isaiah 58:12, we are committed to being repairers of the breach, not just pointing out what is wrong, but rebuilding what can work. For CADEF, advocacy is not charity; it is necessary repair.
An advocate for justice and fairness, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that empowers individuals and transforms communities.
To promote a just and humane society through enhanced consumer protection, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and empowerment to strengthen sustainable economic growth.
Our programs are designed to empower individuals, uplift communities, and create meaningful change through education, advocacy, and social support.
CADEF seeks to ensure that consumers, particularly those who are most vulnerable in society, are able to defend and safeguard their rights and have their voices heard on issues that concern them.
CADEF seeks to reduce the proliferation of sub-standard goods and services and their effects on consumers.
We believe in empowering individuals and groups to increase their autonomy and self-determination economically and socially.
Through dedicated programs, transparent processes, and long-term commitment, we ensure every effort leads to meaningful and lasting impact.
